In over 25 years in libraries, I have been a page, Circulation Clerk, Interlibrary Loan Clerk, reference librarian, cataloger, Branch Library Manager, City Library Director, and Arizona State Library Continuing Education Consultant.

I facilitated the "Planning for Results" strategic planning process in several Arizona libraries, and led workshops on museum exhibit copywriting, advcocacy for small libraries, and strategic planning. Outside of Library Land, I've been a newspaper and book publisher, museum project developer, exhibit copywriter, technical writer, college library instructor, musician, contributor to literary encyclopedias, welder, landscape assistant, first cook, waitress, dance accompanist, newspaper deliverer, and babysitter.
